
Story Battle: Allows you to pick a character and play through a series of nine battles which ends with the boss of the game Jinpachi Mishima. While the PS3 version lacks the PSP version's new modes, it later received an update on August 2007 to add online multiplayer support (the first game in the series to do so). It was also ported for the PlayStation 3 as a digital release on Decem(in Japan) and in 2007 (on March 1 in North America and on March 23 in Europe). It was later ported to the PlayStation Portable (as Tekken: Dark Resurrection) in 2006 (July 6 in Japan, July 25 in North America, and September 15 in Europe), adding a new game mode (the Tekken Dojo, which allows players to fight in leagues comprised of fake players) and the return of the Tekken Bowl mode.
